Cable TV services: Time Warner Cable 940-855-0465 is available in the area.

Numerous radio stations including Cumulus (940-704-0145), and Gap (940-763-1111) give area listeners a wide variety of music from alternative rock to National Public Radio.

The Times Record News is the city's daily newspaper (940-723-8471) and several area towns, including Wichita Falls, also publish weekly papers.

Wichita Falls is home to more than 180 Christian churches from 40 denominations, a Jewish Synagogue and members of almost every religious community. Many churches work together to support community organizations, such as Interfaith Ministries and Faith Mission, and churches near Midwestern State University provide fellowship for students both on and off campus.

New Texas citizens have 30 days to change vehicle tags through the Wichita County Tax Assessor at the Courthouse Annex, 6th and Scott Streets. Proof of Insurance and a Texas State Inspection Sticker are required. A vehicle must be registered in Texas before the driver's license can be changed (940-766-8248).
